Roz Nathan

Roz Nathan is a natural history and wildlife artist, covering many British and exotic species and specialising in apes.

Working mainly in mixed media, Roz explores our relationships and attitudes to our closest cousins, and aims to raise our awareness of the plight of these beautiful sentient beings.

A qualified teacher, Roz runs classes & workshops for small groups of students of all abilities at various venues in and around Eastbourne, East Sussex. She also leads Art Safaris to South Africa and will be starting art holidays to France in 2020 (see Art Holidays).

Typical subjects covered include beginner and novice drawing & painting, abstract art, life & portrait, colour mixing, collage, natural history, wildlife and botanical art. Teaching people to draw is a particular passion. See Courses for further details.

Roz lives and works in East Sussex where her rural studio overlooks the spectacular South Downs.
