Shapes / line / tone / intro to simple perspective

Tuesdays 10.30am - 1.00pm 2.5 hrs with a break.

This session is suitable for those with little or no drawing experience, especially those with no confidence! It may also be useful for those who need a recap because they are really rusty, or who have serious gaps in their drawing knowledge and skills.

We will be using a range of simple drawing exercises to understand how our logical left-brain processing interferes with our ability to draw, by using previously stored information to assume what shape an object should be.

You’ll be very pleasantly surprised at how quickly you can progress, and draw recognisable objects that look the right shape, and solid. Drawing is a skill anyone can learn, armed with the right knowledge about how we see, and supported within a friendly group environment.

Start Date: Tues 4 September 2018
End Date: Tues 18 December 2018
No session: Tues 23 October 2018 (school half-term)

Cost: £12.50 per session (payable 4 weekly in advance)
Free refreshments provided.
